Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • Education:
    • Higher Diploma or above in related field.
  • Experience:
    • Preferred 3+ years in procurement, inventory management, supply chain, logistics (preferably in medical device of technology sector).
  • Skills:
    • Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
    • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
    • Proficiency in inventory management software and ERP systems
    • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
    • Analytical mindset with attention to detail
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Responsible, independent with strong problem-solving skills. Team spirit and ability to work under pressure.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and subject matter experts.
Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

  • Procurement Management:
    • Develop and implement procurement strategies
    • Identify and establish relationships with reliable suppliers
    • Assist R&D team members in material and equipment procurement
    • Monitor supplier performance; resolve quality, delivery, invoicing issues
    • Conduct market research on industry trends, emerging suppliers
  • Logistics Management:
    • Manage international shipping (air and sea) and custom clearance
    • Coordinate with global branch offices and vendors for logistics arrangements
  • Warehouse Management:
    • Oversee inventory levels; minimize excess and obsolescence
    • Implement inventory control procedures, best practices
    • Maintain warehouse daily operations
    • Conduct regular inventory audits, reconciliations
    • Manage inventory transactions; maintain accurate ERP records
  • Laboratory Management:
    • Monitor and maintain cleanliness and orderliness of lab spaces
    • Ensure proper storage and labelling of materials and equipment
    • Implement protocols for maintaining a safe and organized work environment
  • Cost Management:
    • Work with senior management to develop and manage procurement budget
    • Analyze costs; implement cost-saving measures
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Coordinate with engineering and production on material requirements, timelines
    • Work with finance for timely supplier payments, accurate reporting
  • Reporting and Analysis:
    • Generate reports on procurement, inventory metrics; provide insights
    • Use data analysis for future inventory forecasting, procurement adjustments
